From Ljubljana Airport to Pula is approximately 235 km. Journey time is around 2.5 to 3 hours. Pula is at the southern tip of the Istrian peninsula — the furthest of the Istrian destinations from Ljubljana.
The route goes south on the Slovenian motorway, crosses the Croatia border, then continues the full length of the Istrian Y motorway (Ipsilon) to the Pula exit. The last stretch follows the road around the bay into the city.
Pula Airport (PUY) serves direct flights from many European cities in summer. If you fly into Pula directly, we also offer transfers from Pula Airport. But if your flight comes through Ljubljana, a private transfer is the most practical option.
