The route heads south on the Slovenian motorway, crosses the border near Dragonja, then takes the Istrian Y motorway (Ipsilon) north toward Poreč. The last section follows the western Istrian coast road to the town.
Croatia is not in the Schengen area. All passengers need a valid passport or EU national ID. Border wait time is typically 5–15 min, up to 30 min in peak summer. Included in the fixed price — no extra charge.
