From Ljubljana Airport (Brnik — officially Jože Pučnik Airport, operated by Fraport Slovenia) to Vrsar is approximately 190 km. Journey time is around 2 to 2.5 hours. Vrsar sits on the western Istrian coast, roughly halfway between Poreč and Rovinj.
The route goes south on the Slovenian motorway, crosses into Croatia (no border stop for Schengen citizens since January 2023), then takes the Istrian Y motorway to the Vrsar/Poreč area.
Vrsar and Poreč are about 12 km apart and in the same price bracket — €180 car / €250 van from the airport. If you're split between the two, the transfer cost won't be the deciding factor.
