Train Ljubljana → Vienna Hauptbahnhof (~5h 30 min), then City Airport Train (CAT) to VIE (~16 min). Book on oebb.at. Good option for non-rush travel, not practical for heavy luggage or tight connections.

Direct coach services

Several operators run Ljubljana → Vienna city (~5h). Then S-Bahn or CAT to the airport. Check FlixBus or Nomago. Long but cheap.

Self-drive & drop at VIE

Drive A2 → Karawanken → Austria. Many car rental companies allow one-way Austria drops. Austrian motorway vignette required (~€10 for 10 days). VIE has rental car facilities on-site.
