Kranjska Gora is Slovenia's most famous mountain resort — nestled in the Sava Dolinka valley at the foot of the Julian Alps, just a few kilometres from the Austrian and Italian borders. In winter it hosts World Cup ski races on the Vitranc slope; in summer the Vršič Pass draws cyclists and hikers from across Europe.
The drive from Ljubljana Airport takes about 1 hour 30 minutes — directly northwest through Kranj and the Sava valley. It's one of the most scenic drives in Slovenia, with the Alps rising dramatically as you head towards the resort.
Kranjska Gora is one of Slovenia's most family-friendly ski areas. We have child seats available on request, and our vans comfortably fit a family with skis, snowboards and luggage. Early morning transfers available from 4am for first-lift access.
